Indian laws are interesting yet I have heard some communitiies in India used to  hate baby girls. Hope that law protects millions of baby girls although there are innocent mothers waiting to know their baby's gender. May god bless you to have a healthy baby and may you be surprised by his or her arrival.

Won't they do dating scan and anomaly scan when Indian ladies are pregnant? If they do just get friendly with your Obs and know it and keep it a secret or you try to figure that out. Just look into some YouTube videos on how to find out the baby's gender for your own knowledge and when you are there next time just try to figure that out on your own. Are they doing 4d scan there? It will be much easier then

The needle method always works in my family. It was right for my grandmother, my mother, and this time it was right for me. 3 generations and all had an accurate result. Although it is just a myth, I strongly believe in it.

The ultrasound is unfortunately the only for sure way to find out... Are they doing the anatomy scan still at 20 weeks to make sure everything is in place and there? Maybe ask under the table or try to look for yourself while they're looking around. I know there are myths in figure that out but mine were all wrong when I did them, so I know from first hand that they don't always work.
