blood in vaginal discharge

Hi,

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I have a very little blood mingled with the vaginal discharge. I have seen the doctor and he checked it out. The Baby is fine and he gave me some medication for some fungal infection. Its been a week now, but the blood is still there. Also, the color of the blood is bright orangy-red. The amount of blood has not increased or decreased.
I have another appointment in a few days and am wondering if I should see the doctor again sooner ? Is this something that happens, some of my friends mentioned that they have had the same experience.

Hey there honey,  You know, If you have ANY Blood or spotting at all, PLEASE consult a GP or OB!!  Listen to yourself, if you think it is urgent, for goodness sake, make an earlier appointment or at least consult a medical professional asap.. Good luck!!

I`m happy for you.
The real contraction have regular rhythm - intervals and they don`t go away if you take some rest or change the position of your body. Also if you feel low back pain and you didn`t felt that before (I have it all the time) you should contact your doctor. You should count your contractions.
You may actually feel Braxton Hicks contractions, feeling with your hand a slight tensing of your abdomen. This is just your uterine muscle preparing for birth. And they are normal during second trimester.
I`m sure everything will be ok. Dont think about that. Good luck.

Maybe the blood comes from the outside of cervix. Where is the placenta posed? Did the doctor exluded the placenta? (when you have placenta previa the bleedin is much havier).
I think is nothing serious because is not increased. If the contractions start then call the dr immediately. Good luck
