blood test -drink

Did the drink they give you for your one hour glucose test made anyone else feel really weird. The drink went down good I like the taste everything then I started getting really bad heart burn, my legs started feeling very heavy / tingly and my face went numb (like when you have drankntoo much alcohal) then after the test I felt really dizzy. And when I got home I threw up just wondering if anyone else had a negative reaction to the drink??

It made me shaky and nauseated.

With my first I had a mid wife and she just had me eat an almond snickers because it had the same amount of sugar.

I did mine today and I felt fine they gave me peanut butter crackers and orange juice after they took my blood

I have never felt like that before without alcohol and even then it was different too I am worried I didn't pass.. Unfortunately I took the test at 28 weeks and since my doctor is away on holidays I have to wait tell I'm 32 weeks to see him (It worked out to be 7 weeks without seeing him I was 24-25 weeks)

I take my test next week is the Drink really gross I chose the fruit punch and scared its gonna be gross

I looked the drink I had orange and it tasted like fizzy orange kool aid

I got the red drink. It tasted like kool aid that had to much surgar in it. After they took my blood I threw up. I felt pretty weird all day that day. Luckily I passed mine so I don't have to do the 3 hr test. Good luck. You'll be fine.

I started feeling exactly the same. I threw up right in the doctors office. They made me drink some thick orange drink that had so much sugar in it, it was like syrup.
