blood test to determine gender

So I have an appointment on Thursday I'm only 12 weeks but could I just tell my doctor I'm interested in that and get it done? And for those who have had it did they bill your insurance or did you end up paying since it's not a medical necessity

I'm getting it here in 3 weeks and I'll be 8 weeks u can get it as close to 7 weeks. And if u have passport and they take it with the original blood work they do at first appointment Insurence pays for it I'm not sure after ur first visit tho

I think it costs $300..a friend of mine had it done recently and that was in Denver. I will be scheduling mine next week. Tell you dr. You want it!
