I'm 38+4 and I just went pee and when I wiped there was a lot of discharge that was brown and had red stuff in it?? I thought I already lost my mucus plug?! Is bloody show the same thing?

I'm dialated to a 2 and my cervix is super soft and 60% thinned. My doctor said he thinks he will come before Thanksgiving, but I don't think so.

It regenerates. I lost mine a week ago but mine regenerated. Its not always a sign of labor but for some people it is.

When I was 37 weeks, I told my doctor and that's what he said it was. But I have never seen my discharge like that brown with red stringy stuff in it. I hope labor is close! I have been so depressed: (

Bloody show is just a way of saying you've lost your mucus plug. But thats what it sounds like happened. When did you first think you lost it? I've read some people say that it grows back.
