My mom had that same problem but it was bc of her chemo and she always had a piece of life saver in her mouth she said that's the only thing that would help her

Oh dang. I hope mine doesn't come back when I'm that far along. The metallic taste isn't fun at all. Hopefully it's not something that will stick around for you. Are there any medications you're taking?

I've heard or read that a metallic taste can come from all of the vitamins we take while pregnant. Still, if you're concerned, you could always ask your doctor. :)

I had a similar dilemma, except i have a sweet taste in my mouth and has been happening on and off for a couple weeks now. I looked it up and what I've found said it could be your estrogen levels. Maybe that's what it is for you too (:

I had the same thing at the beginning of my pregnancy. It was hard to eat because everything tasted that way and made me even more nauseous. It does go away though. Just try to stick to small snacks, and honestly eating things that are super sweet or sour overpower the metallic taste.
