braxton hixs already???

Im an 16 wks and 3 days now and have been having a lot of braxton hix lately.. Just wondered if anyone on here have started having these so earily.. I dont remeber having them with my daughter until i was in my last trimaster??

They say you feel them tons earlier with your second pregnancy.... This is my second and I think I started feeling them around  the 18 week mark too..... I would assume its normal.... just as long as they stop and are not consistant

I am as far as you and I felt like I was having Braxton Hicks. This is my 3rd pregnancy and never had them this early. I asked my OB about it and she told me it's not Braxton Hicks it's just your uterus stretching out. I really felt the tightening and pain and all that..But thats what she told me. She's a great DR and I really trust her opinion. So maybe you'd want to ask yours the next time you  go in.

hi im the same i have had braxton hicks for about 5 weeks now im 26 weeks pregnant and the odd occasion i will have them coming from my back into my abdoman it is so painful i never had braxton hicks alot with my other kids but this time im having them all the time soo yes you can have them early as 16 weeks

Braxton Hicks can begin as early as 6 weeks pregnant.
