breastfeeding question.

Just wondering if any moms for certain reasons stopped breastfeeding n pumping for a short amount of time and were able to go back to it, with or without the help of somethin. I stopped bc my milk wasn't comin in enough so i kinda gave up hope. But tooday i heard about some pills that you can take to increase milk flow. Just wondering if any moms had any success in starting up breastfeeding again. Like what helped ststart you milk flow again, if it makes any sense.

I dont remwmber the name.  mine what a presciption from the doctor and they work wonders.  fenugreek is more natural

@kaylamomof3 Are the pills you took called Fenugreek capsules or something like that.

@brittani45 I was pumping at first it was going good but my milk basically dissappeared lol so I have up and stopped.

Also make sure you are hydrated.  That's one of the top reasons you may not produce as much at first. Keep pumping. I would pump even of a drop came out and kept trying.  Took about a month but then I had too much milk lol so just stick it out

tons of women do it.  those pills actually help with bringing in milk for women who havent had children.  I used them 4 years ago.  my daughter had a bad lactose problem and we tried everything.  when she was 8 months old my doctor recommended breast feeding.  I used them and I was able to give her what she wanted  til she was a year and a half.
