breastfeeding question

if i decide to breastfeed can i still get birth control. ?? my dr won't tie my tubes since im only 23 so birth control is a must

Nuva ring isn't recommend because it can stop your milk supply. Only progesterone contraception is safe nothing with estrogen. You can also get the depo shot, a certain kind and its good for 3 months :)

Yes you can. You can go on the mini pill, get an iud, and possibly the nuva ring although im not 100% on that one. I personally loved the mini pill. Its progesterone based, no estrogen so safe for bf, and i had no side affects at all with it.

U can get the mini pill or iud I don't think u can use anything wit hormones in it.

Bump. I want to know this too. I plan to breast feed as well and want to go on bc.
