I think any untreated infection has the potential to cause pre term labor...a yeast infection is an easy fix tho just tell yer doctor about it

Sometimes when you treat bv you get a yeast infection and vice versa because the antibiotics used to treat the infection kill off too much of the bacteria. You always have the yeast and bv bacteria in your vagina, but when one is out of balance it causes an infection.

Yep, anytime you take an antibiotic, even for a uti or sinus infection, you can end up with a vaginal yeast infection or thrush (oral yeast infection). :(

I had this for about 3 wks about a month ago and it was so uncomfortable. I did get checked out and there was no infection at all. The doctor and myself were not sure of what caused it and the only thing I found helped and you can try when you are home is to go around with no undies on but with loose pants like pjs on. I finally did this and after 2-3 days it stopped another thing that kinda helped was long warm bathes. Another thing that helped if you feel comfortable doing it and can see was shaving some of it off after s few hours it felt really better.
I would say ask your doctor about it but those are some things I found that helped because their was no infection.
Good Luck I know how uncomfortable it is, I feel for you.
Good Luck !!!!
