broke my foot 16 Weeks pregnant and my side has pain

Any suggestions on the pain the doctor gave me ibuprofen and hydrocodne but I havnt took none because I dont know if its safe too. I went to the emergency to when I broke my foot and they didnt ask if I was pregnant before they gave the medicine

Hydrocodone is ok I have taken it with all 3 of my pregnancys, the first 2 for very bad bladder infections and with my last pregnancy I had to take that and morphine because of my gallbladder. All of the kids are perfectly healthy.

You can take hydrocondone.  I have taken it with both if mine it doesn't cross the placenta.

I don't think you can take either of those...it's a good idea to tell any doctor you see you're pregnant so they can make sure the meds they give you are safe for the baby. The only thing I think we can take for pain is regular tylenol.

Double check with your regular doctor he might prescribe you something else x
