Is a brown discharge something to worry about during the first 6 weeks of pregnacy
I think you should go to the doctor and get it checked out to be on the safe side
brown blood can mean so much..
it can be normal, it can be something serious like previously stated, and in my case I bled dark brown blood twice.. the first time I was 9w4d, my fiancé ran me to the ER, and I found out I had a Subchorionic Hemorrhage - they say it's very common, a lot of women have them, and my body would just absorb it or I'd bleed out. I didn't see dark brown blood again until about a week later.
I'm 13w4d now, and I've not seen blood since then. I go to the doctor Thursday and I'm hoping that it's gone for good!! (((:
my point is, never assume anything. what's "normal" may be okay for 1,000 other women using this app, but your situation can be completely different.. just as mine was, along with @rebecaann11. I'm not saying expect the worst either, but don't just never rely on other people's experiences.
never feel like you're bugging your OB, that's what they're there for. I'll call my OB's office all day long if I want to!!!! lol good luck!!! (((:

I had a lot of brown discharge at 7 wks. It was just old blood my body's way of getting out bad toxins my baby is perfectly healthy at 16 wks an 1 day I'm sure your fine an baby is to just give your dr a call in the morning
Due to it being my first time I really don't what to expect or feel being only six weeks. Sometimes I just wanna go to da Dr everyday but I just keep calm by praying all day.
Hopefully all goes well. But armywife93 is also correct some times brown discharge isn't something to worry about.

I was bleeding bright red blood and dark brown blood when I was 5 weeks till now. I found out last Thursday I have a molar pregnancy. I have to have a d&c tomorrow. At a cancer facilitY. I'm almost to 12 weeks.
Yes it's normal. Brown discharge is old implantation bleeding most likely. If you're real worried call your ob, but it's very common in a lot of women. Bright red blood is what you would need to worry about.
I would call your doctor first thing in the morning and tell her. I wouldn't go to the er tonight. But I would let your doctor know.
