brown discharge

hi im 39 weeks pregnant and this morning noticed brown discharge, i've noticed a small amount since then, on thursday the dr said i was 1cm dilated, what do you think it is

It's probably the start of your mucous plug - be prepared. when mine was coming out it came out in globs!  blech!  Good luck!

I had that just a couple of days before I went into labor with my son...

I had that as well a few days before I went into labor....If it is mucousy too, it may be the start of losing your mucous plug....that was what mine looked like.....

I would guess that your water is about to break and go into labour hun!! good luck xxx
