brown spotting and very light cramps @ 9 weeks

Question

I started having light brown spotting about a quarter sized or a lil more every few hours or so since last night. its all brown, theres no bright red, and its very light. I started having very light cramping this morning. I have had 3 miscarriages and 2 live births, and I am concerned that this may another loss. I cant get to the doctor until tuesday because of the 3 day weekend. But i have a sonogram appt. wednesday? I dont wanna rush to the ER for nothing, should i just wait until wednesday? I've read a lot about old blood, new blood, heavy and light and when to be concerned.. ect, but everyone i read basically says, theres no difinitive answer until you see your doctor!  Anyone else experienced this? My husband says he remembered me having this with our second child? I dont remember that... Maybe its nothing? Maybe I should be seen just in case? Any advice/similiar experiences? I would appreciate your input, at least to put my mind @ ease until I can get to my doctor.

I'm so sorry, I know exactly how you feel. I've been pregnant 5 times and have 1 son. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Being that you have cysts though I have heard that can cause bleeding. I wish you the best

Ugh, this morning, woke up with bad cramps.. red blood on my pad, (sorry if tmi) but still lighter than what i would expect for a miscarriage or period.. A little worried because its not brown anymore, and the cramps are increasing in pain. I believe im in the beginning of miscarrying, theres no way to tell for sure.. I have to go to the doctor. My husband works a half day today, so when he gets home, Im going to the dr. Ouch! This *****. But I guess when you've had more miscarriages than births, you get used to this happening. IDK WTF is wrong with me.... why my babies dont survive.. The doctors can find nothing wrong besides ovarian cysts... but both my pregnancies that resulted in a baby, were horrible and constant work on my and the dr's part to keep them in there. Well, Im leavin it in god's hands. Whatever is meant to be, I can accept it. I am just extra thankful for my two handsome boys. wish me luck : * (

Spotting in pregnancy can be completely normal, nerve wracking but normal :)

Get lots of rest til wednesday if you can

 I had some spotting still earlier tonight and now nothing... for at least a few hours. Its wierd cuz i feel fine. I sitll have a cramp here and there, but I think your right. I am gunna wait till Wed. unless anything else happens. At least you guys put my mind @ ease, for now. Just keepin my fingers crossed! Thanks again!

Oh, yeah, it definitely isn't a UTI, my point was that for any little thing I would go to the ER for peace of mind. But since it's hard for you to get away, I wouldn't worry about a little brown blood. I'm sure your fine!

Exactly, I wouldn't be concerned unless the cramping became severe or the bleeding red and heavy. I believe you and baby are just fine :)

I know how it feels after having a m/c every little thing has you on your toes. If you have some spare time go to the ER just for piece of mind. If not though, I think all will go well on Wednesday

I've had a UTI in the past and this doesnt burn when i pee, or feel uncomfortable, so i dont think its that... But the cramping to push the blood out sounds def. possible, because they are soo light, i dont know what other purpose they would serve if im not heavily bleeding? ANyway, If i start having worse cramps or more blood i will go to the ER, Its just hard to do with my hunny working full time and having 2 kids here with me all day.  If not, I will wait until my sono. on wednesday. Thanks for the input!!!

The light cramping could be solely to push out the old- brown blood.

It's probably nothing, but I always go to the ER for piece of mind. I do it for brown blood, a possible UTI, anything that gives me worry while pregnant. Just tell them you're bleeding (even if it has stopped). This way they will give you an ultrasound.  Light brown blood can be common, but I think you'll feel better.
