brown spotting

I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy. I'm freaking out a little bit because I have a brown spotty discharge. What does this mean should I call my doctor?

Spotting is common in the first trimester.I had it at 10 weeks with slight lower abdominal pain and went to the ER. The NP did a pelvic exam and ultrasound and concluded that it was from the placenta attaching to the uterine wall (common for spotting from this). But for your reassurance, go to a medical facility to get it checked :)

Some Ppl Bleed While Pregnant every Pregnancy Is Different But Yea Its Spotting Not Heavy Blood Don't Worry To Much But Call Your Docter Monday And Ask For Advice On It

Im 27 1/2 weeks and I never had that. Yess you should ask your doctor or look for more information on the web.... but best to ask doctor about it A.S.A.P
