Induction?

Is induction like regular labor? And can they induce me if baby hadnt dropped yet? I'm 36 weeks pregnant and my doctor is talking induction because of to much protein in my urine.

The thing about pitocin that was explained to me (that's the meds they give to induce you) is that if they push too much at once, than labor is much harder than it would be naturally.  Otherwise it's just like natural labor.

Usually they will do an induction if its necessary like if the babys life is in harm or yours. I had to be induced with my daughter because i was leaking and didnt know and my water level was low. But its the same thing is only medicine that helps you dilate and go into labor, you gotta push and everything else, for me is the same thing
