Definitely something to talk with your doctor about asap so you have time to switch if that's what you want. I will always encourage natural birth. Sometimes a repeat c section is necessary, but vaginal birth is typically safer and leads to a faster recovery.

Really depends on why you had your first via c section and if your doctor supports Vbac. If you're first was c section because of fetal distress, you probably won't have the same thing happen again. Same with breech. But if it's cpd (which is over diagnosed but basically means your doctor thinks the baby was too large to fit) they may or may not even give you a trial if labor. With every other scenario though, a trial if labor is the least you should be allowed.

With my second pregnancy my ob gave me the choice to try a vbac but I opted not to I went with c section again my first baby didn't fit and my baby's are less than 7lbs and I didn't think my second one would fit either and now I'm on my 3 rd and have no choice but to get a c section since its what I went with the second time. Every ob could be different and it could depend on how your c section incision healed but I was given the option. Good luck
