thinning cervix

I am currently 35+3 only a fingertip dilated and still not effaced. My doctor is inducing me at 37 weeks due to Pre Eclampsia.  She said that the way my cervix is will make the induction VERY uncomfortable. I'm not wanting to put myself into labor but is there anything I can do to help thin my cervix so my induction is more comfortable?

I'd do some major research before trying anything to thin your cervix. Personally I'd just let it do it naturally. As God intended.
