Please can someone help me I am getting increasingly more scared as the days go on. I am in a loving relationship and I have been on the pill for years however recently I have noticed my periods are becoming later and later and there is hardly anything at all coming out. They last for a couple of days then nothing. I have done pregnanct tests in the past and they have come up negative. Now I have a new symptom I am getting a dull ache over my ovaries particularly my left one. It's not overly painful just a bit uncomfortable, the only way I can describe it is that it feels like a dull period pain. Can anyone think what this is, is it serious? I can't be pregnant can I?

It depends on the cyst and if you are ovulating. Your OB should run some tests and you can use ovulation predictors to find out if you are ovulating. Usually they go away on their own but you need some testing to find out the type and size of the cyst. I have a 2mm cyst on my right ovary and have been having trouble conceiving. Good luck to you.

Sounds like you may have a cyst. I would see an OB.
