Definitely a wise investment **** I meant to say. The above poster is not correct about not being able to hear anything til after 12 weeks... I promise you that from my own experience and plenty of advice and others YouTube videos at 9wks! <3

I completely disagree with the posters above me. I bought a $50 sonoline b fetal Doppler and I heard the heartbeat at 9 weeks when I got it. Like you, I was extremely worried about a miscarriage, since I miscarried about 6 months before this pregnancy. Even if you are not a doctor, the baby's heartbeat is easily distinguished between other noises that are similar. Just hearing the heartbeat whenever you are worried and at the convenience of your own home, well that's the bliss of reassurance. Defiantly a wide investment. If you'd like..you can message me privately and I'll send you a demo of the Doppler and answer any questions. I got mine at 9 wks, and am now 12 weeks. Had a few scares but I hear the heartbeat to get by and then eventually at my doctors apt they confirm all is good. Good luck.! I've seen people get a heartbeat with the same Doppler as early as 7-8 wks. Do some more research too if you'd like :)

I agree with the above poster. There is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent it. The only thing I would add is don't buy a fetal dopplar at this point. You won't hear anything at this point and it will be scary. If you want to buy one wait until you're more than 12 weeks.

The only advice I can give you is to quit worrying about it and try to enjoy the pregnancy :) There's nothing you can do to prevent from having one.
