I've been reading some really good stories about Evening Primrose Oil. It doesn't produce contractions, but it helps dilate and efface you. My doctor told me to take 2000mg orally and then at night prick a capsule so that it leaks and insert it as deep into your vaginia (as close to your cervix as possible.) my husband helps me because he has longer fingers than I do, and with my belly in the way it's hard for me to reach. I also wear a pantiliner to bed because the oil does leak into your underwear sometimes.
My mom swears by walking, squats, bouncing on a yoga ball, and sex.
My husband and me are going walking in the mornings and swimming in the evening.
I have a doctor appt on Wednesday, so hopefully I have progressed! On Tuesday I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Hope you find something that works for you.
The only thing I have ever seen work personally was eating the whole raw core of a pineapple. She posted the video on facebook and in an hr she was going to the hospital from contractions and had her baby that night. Although she was overdue idk if that changes it or not but it definitely worked for her.
