nevous to share the news.

So I just found out that I am pregnant and I am way to scared to tell my Parents. I'm 20 yrs old and live on my own and engaged but they always tell me I better not get pregnant,or they will be very disappointed if I do. And that it will ruin my life. I don't know how I should go about telling them without them hating me. Any suggestions??

I disagree with the text. A letter is better. With text they may feel disrespected or unworthy.

I would not do it via text. They'll take it worse that way.

Show them that although having a baby doesn't mean your life is over. You can still accomplish a lot. May be draining or hard but possible. Good luck

I got pregnant at 17 and I lived with mine and I was terrified to too but I had to do it regardless because you need to go to a dr! Mine wanted to send me away. Always fought it was a nightmare, they said they weren't gonna even help me. Now tm daughter is born they take over more then I even do. Maybe write a letter or text it's gonna be hard at first but as time gets closer they'll adjust and love your baby trust me! Plus your an adult now they really can't run your life!
