If your already used to it then they don't mind, just don't go trying to be a body builder :)

I haven't been told that I have an 11 month old son who weighs 20 pounds and the only thing my doctor has told me is just to not carry him in his carseat

oh my kids are beasts and I can't deny them cuddles and carry them when they need me.  my daughter will ask the odd time for me to pick her up and hug her but on a daily basics I pick up my 35 pound son who's 2 and carry him everywhere. I'm 36 weeks and I'm fine and my doctor hasn't slapped me yet lol

I think if they're heavier than like 30 pounds or something. I don't carry my daughter, just in case. But I do sit her on my lap at least lol
