If your baby is a good eater I would put baby rice in the bottle at any age...my son had acid reflux and the dr perscribed him formula with rice in it at 1 month.  I had to add more rice 2 it because he would go through formula like crazy he drank way more than normal amount  and was not overweight

I've never put it in a bottle, but babies shouldn't have any type of food or cereal until 4 months as they can't digest it. I started giving mine baby rice once a day at 4 months then gradually built it up so that by 4-5 months they were eating baby foods 3 times a day.
