Does anyone know how to self check to see if your dilated anymore?

There is nothing wrong with checking yourself as long as your washing your hands and being gentle your fine. My best friend has done it through all 5 of her pregnancies , her doctor was the one that told her how to. But rosie is right thats the easiest way some people can use a mirror and see i personally havent tried it.

Okay well if you wouldn't mind a little advice from medical professional - it's not recommended, and can cause irritation or infection. Washing your hands sure helps but it doesn't mean there aren't any risks. Trust me on this. It's not pretty seeing people suffer through an infection like that.

Oh yeah I washed my hands! I wouldn't do it if it was harmful to my body thank you.

As long as your washing your hands an being gentle you'll be fine. But yes your probably 2cm :)

I'm not doing it hard I'm gently doing and only done it once. If hurt or was going to hurt I would stop.

Your going to end up causing a serious infection that's why doctors do it

I went to the doctor last week and was 1cm I feel like its opened more since then. Tmi but Icould fit 2 so iI guess that means I'm 2cm now idk lol.

It's not recommended. You won't learn anything about how close labor is, even if you're doing it right, and it would be very easy to cause cervical irritation or infection by doing it which will NOT make labor any easier or any faster.

The easiest way I think is to stand up put one leg on the edge of the tub an insert two fingers straight up the vagina slowly your cervix feels like lips so if the lips are closed your cervix is closed if you can insert a finger tip or 2 it's opening.  I hope this helps
