The important thing - make sure your partner knows he might have to stop if you're too uncomfortable to continue. And the MOST important thing - USE CONDOMS. Your body is NOT ready to get pregnant again right away, but due to hormone levels you are extremely fertile for the first few months after delivery! Be very careful! And use lube, and have fun. It's a little different for a little while but you'll be feeling back to your old self in no time.

I got stitches and waited 5 weeks. The first time it did hurt a little, but lube helped tremendously and after that first time it didn't really hurt, just a little uncomfortable for a while. Just don't do any hard core sex lol take it easy!

You are supposed to wait 6 weeks for your body to heal. Some people say it hurts. The only time it was ever painful for me was after my first baby. I had 4 stitches from an episiotomy.
