cloth diapers

Any already moms use cloth diapers ? Im a ftm and have decided to go this route. Any advice? Tips ?

Everyone will have their own preferences and routines when it comes to diapering I strongly suggest you join some pages on fb. Different diapers and different techniques work differently for different people/babies. Also word of the wise hang diapers sideways instead of up and down so you dont ruin the elastics faster. Well idk ab putting lemon luice in my he washer very that probably works though :-) but I use borax for stains. I use old fashioned homage cloth diapers like go to the amish get diaper material and cut ans sew material into diapers and pin then etc. Cloth diapeted my first for about 2 years I just put hot water and done borax in my diaper pail they soak till im ready to wash and add a bit if reg det I use all free and clear and no stains! :-) this is exactly what my mil did 30 years ago with my husband and sil. Overnight and outings I use alva baby cloth diapers with the bamboo inserts.

Yes if you get stains that wont come out in your normal wash routine you can put lemon juice ob it and sun it and it will come right out!!

Thanks. I just bought 48. One of the packs had a variety including charcoal bamboo and the other pack was all bamboo. Also, lemon juice??

Dont buy a ton of one kind. Every baby is different and the fit will be different. I am currently cloth diapering my oldest and will my second. But it was alot of trial and error until I found a good fit. Also dont be lazy like some people and build a clothesline outside to hang your diapers the sun and lemon juice takes any stain out! If u have fb join fluff live and cd science they are some awesome admins. Good luck. Oh and microfiber inserts suck and cant touch babys skin directly just an fyi charcoal bamboo is way better.
