Thanks ladies! The half decaf is a great idea. I'll do that most days and then on the really hard days I'll have a whole cup. Thanks!
I am currently 4w5d and I am incredibly tired all the time. I also am a mother of 2 boys ages 5 and 4, if I don't have a cup of coffee in the morning, I don't think I would be able to get out the door to take my other kids to school. I believe that one cup a day isn't going to hurt you, you just shouldnt have an entire pot to yourself. The other thing that I am doing, is that if i feel i need a coffee during the day, I will get a half coffee and half decaf.
I tried avoiding it but then said oh whatever. You can always have half caf if you are getting coffees from a coffee shop but a cup of coffee a day is fine. I have cut back some on soda but I didnt drink a ton to begin with so that wasnt terrible. I am 33 weeks.
I didn't have any caffeine except for two cups on Friday night's when I would go out to eat. Then the last couple weeks of my pregnancy, I drank one or two Pepsi a day. A cup of coffee is okay to have.
I avoided caffeine until i was about 15 weeks. Then i would have a few glasses of soda a day. And now in the last few weeks ive started to have coffee occasionally. Im 29 weeks. I don't think there is anything wrong with it as long as you don't go over the recommended amount.
i was avoidong caffeine for the first month or so n i about went crazy! n i had morning sickness like crazy until i realized the only thing i didnt throw up was rootbeer until after 1pm
