Lol well your suppose to only have a specific amount of caffeine a day, the doctor says a couple cups of coffee is fine. Personally, I didnt drink any sodas with caffeine in it. And I stopped drinking coffee cold turkey. BUT, once I got into my third trimester I started drinking a half a cup of coffee in the morning cause I missed my mornings where I drank my morning coffees lol. So half a cup a day for me. Caffeine is just bad while pregnant cause he makes the babys heart race, etc, and can cause heart problems among other things. Also, unfortunately if you plan on breastfeeding the rules of caffeine are the same cause the baby will be getting the caffeine intake from your breast milk. I was so excited to start drinking caffeine drinks again, but now I have to wait even longer. lol. Sad day.

You can have a moderate amount of caffeine daily. But I stay away from it completely. When I give birth I'm going straight to Starbucks for a caramel macchiato lol :)
