Ues this week I will be having my cappuccino!!!! No if ands or buts about it lol
My doc said 200 mg a day, I treat myself to 1 lg coffee a week from dunkin doughnuts haha. Pumpkin coffee yum :)
I was craving a redbull so bad a few weeks ago. Before I got pregnant I was drinking at least 2 16 ounce redbulls a day, and 2-3 Mt. Dew Kickstarts. I talked to my doctor and she told me that 1 8 ounce redbull was fine. I have also had a Bob Marley Frappé with 1 shot in it. Doctor said that was fine too.
It is advised not to have a lot of caffenine, mainly in the first trimester because some studies have indicated that it puts you at greater risk for miscarriage. However, when I approached the middle of my second trimester, I asked my doctor if it was okay to have coffee every now and then to give me an extra boost for work and she said it was totally fine. She said she wouldn't recommended drinking a crazy amount every day but a cup a day would be fine. What I do is buy 1/2 caffeinated coffee and drink a cup in the morning on work days. That way I still get a little bit to get me through the fatigue, but its still less than what my doctor told me was ok to consume. I'm 29 weeks now and have a healthy little boy growing inside me.
A I love frappucinos yummy. I drink my cokes here & there but hubby still wants to go down my throat geesh I just need my fix lol he doesnt understand when u crave something & u just want it so bad!!! & reg ill drink but I want cappuccino. Im 34+4 weeks so soon.. at my hospital they have a Starbucks I told him be ready as soon as baby is out ibwant my cappuccino lol
Everything in moderation. I still have a small cup of coffee most every day. I believe the rule of thumb for caffeine intake while pregnant is between 200-300mg daily.
You are allowed like two cups of coffee a day. I have stopped drinking it too but a small amount a day is still allowed.
It actually depends on your doctor... I suffer from migraines and the only thing that helps is caffeine. My doctor said I can have the caffeine equivalent of up to a small cup of coffee. So no espresso... but it's something!
My dr said caffeine is okay just once every now and then . I now just drink juice and caffeine free drinks . My brother got me a decaf frapp from starbucks and it was pretty good still lol .
Yes :( Right now I would sell my husband for a diet coke. But after being given this gift of a baby how could I do anything that could potentially be unhealthy? I'm settling for caffeine free. And when I deliver this precious girl... I'm getting the biggest diet coke McDonalds has! LoL
