Okay good to know. Thank you darling!
Wow, your daughter was BIG! You go mama!!
I do think that there is some evidence on caffeine not being great for you in high quantities whether you are pregnant or not. And one thing that I didn't realize is that drinking coffee is a risk factor for calcifications of the breast. As I recently had a biopsy as my mammogram presented with suspicious calcifications, the issue of drinking coffee/caffeine came up at every doctors appointment. I cut down on my soda and coffee intake after that.
So, use wisely. And if you don't get any benefit from caffeine like being woken up, I'd definitely switch to decaf. good luck hon!!
My daughter weighed 9.5 too when she was born. I wonder if my son will be as big. I sure feel big. LOL
That makes me feel better. Lol
Im on my second cup this morning making it as i type. There is nothing proven that coffee/caffeine is bad during pregnant they say it can cause low birth weight but its not proven. I drink like a half a pot a day. This is my third baby. I'm 35+ 4 my other two kids weighed 7.6 & 9.5 when they were born.
Wow only once a month. Lol My doctor said it was okay. I totally understand why coffee isn't good though.
I drink it once a month. Since that's what my doctor told me I'm allowed to do.
I have coffee right here beside me now. Yes, I get the coffee thing. :>)
I understand it actually is really hard to give up on something that your just soo used to having that happens to me but with the coke.Everytime im going to eat i start to think about it and i just get a bottled water, orange juice, or a soda. But then sometimes i get headaches if dont have one so i just have too & that makes me feel guilty too :\
I drink two cups a day, which is what my Dr said I could have. :-) love my coffee
I just love the taste if coffee. Something about it gives me a relaxed feeling. Especially in the winter.
Well I drink a cup every morning and then a soda sometimes. I always have and I did when I was pregnant with my daughter too. I'm almost 37 weeks so I think it'll be okay. The coffee I brew at home isn't decaf but I should totally get it since caffeinated coffee doesn't wake me up anyways. Once I have my baby boy I really want to start exercising and just healthier in general. But I don't know if I could actually ever give up coffee. haha
My doctor okayed a cup a day. The last few weeks ive been not having any cuz its been giving me major heartburn.:-)
Its all i drink and iv had no problems what so ever if anything i think it just makes him a little more active due to the caffeine x
Twice a week won't hurt but be careful about daily caffeine intake since the caffeine can cause a miscarriage if too much is consumed.
Yes, I do love my coffee! Morning rituals are hard to break. I think if you ask your doctor you may get some guidelines on this. Most doctors will allow a bit of caffeine during the day. For example, my doctor says two sodas a day is fine. So, ask. Perhaps a cup of coffee a day isn't so bad. ?? But you need to ask. And if he says it IS bad, then you maybe more motivated to not drink it. What about decaf?
Ugh it's so hard to stop. :(
I drink coffee like twice a week but ive known sum women that take one cup or two everyday and they seem ok... But still i myself try to avoid it.
