cold sores.

Ever since ive got pregnant ,i get cold sores on the same part of my lip , ( on the inside ) it goes away for a couple weeks then comes back.  Has anyone else experienced this? I am going to ask my doctor at my appointment next week, i just always forget lol.

Anbesol is what my dr recommended id use. Its like 8 dollars over the counter.

If it's on the inside it sounds more like a canker sore. I have no experience with cold sores..so idk it could be a cold sore I guess. But I've had canker sores all my life and they can be extremely painful. If it is a canker sore it will look more like an ulcer instead of a zit. You could put salt on it (it'll hurt like heck, but it numbs it and helps it go away faster) or you could take L-lysine pills (they work wonders and you can take up to 6 a day to prevent canker sores and make them go away super fast) but you might want to check if those are ok during pregnancy. Like I said though..it could be a cold sore. It just sounds more like a canker sore. (:
