That can also be a sign of thyroid issues. Maybe have them check when you get your next labs. But a lot of women just want ice too so no worries. I only say to have them check cause a lot,of women have lower thyroid levels when pregnant and miss it cause Dr doesn't check that always. It's not vital unless you have a history of thyroid disease like me lol. I'm sure your fine though. :-)

I started craving ice with this last baby!! I was having dizzy spells a.d extremely tired all the time....my doc did a blood test n sure enough my iron was low! After I took the iron pills for a few days I started feeling do much better!    But Ive talked with lots of women who just craved ice without having low iron!

I've craved ice with all 3 pregnancies and I've never been anaemic, but if you are feeling faint then you maybe are. Worth asking for a blood count at ypur next appt and try to eat lots of iron rich foods in the meantime :)

Yes it is a very normal craving. I have to have a cup when I wake up and right before bed for sure and like 3 throughout the day but it sometimes mean iron deficiency so that's prolly why you feel faint at times. I didn't start craving it until like 30 weeks I should mention it to my doctor since I have a history of anemia but I forget even though I carry a cup of ice to munch on in waiting room every visit. I love ice lol
