will the heartburn ever end?

I'm 24 weeks and 6 days pregnant. My heartburn started 3 days ago and it's already unbearable! My chest feels like i swallowed 12 jalopeno peppers and they got stuck. Nothing helps and it's bringing my morning sickness back. Will it ever end? What can i use to relieve the burning?

I guzzled bottles of gaviscon like it was juice! Afraid it probably wont end till baby arrives, but it is instant relief when they do! You will have good days and bad days with it, but unfortunately you can only really treat the symptoms, its hard to prevent it, no matter how careful you are with food.
