Abdominal pain....

Ok, so I have a 9 weeks old baby girl, (my second) and stopped bleeding about 3.5 weeks after delivery. I am breast feeding and bottle feeding, and I was told that as long as you breast feed you have less of a chance of getting your regular period. Well I stopped bleeding the last few days of august, and within a week started bleeding again for 3 days then it stopped. I saw my doctor for our month check up and he said that was normal. wekk I started bleeding again 2 more times in that same month (september) and now I have been getting almost like menstrual cramps which I assume are normal as well, but I don't know something just doesn't seem right! My doctor said it was ok to use a tampon when I bleed now, but the last time I started, it hurt SO bad trying to put one in, and even worse when I tried to take it out! And just this last week when my boyfriend came home from camp and we had sex it hurt so much that we had to stop! I can't really xplain what it feels like, just that it hurt like hell ( scale of 1-10 about an 8) aand had me doubled over in pain! I don't know what could be causing it and would love to know if anyone has gone trough this!?

The pain is not like being dry, its almodt like there is not enough room for anything else inside of my vagina! Sounds silly, but its almost like when anything enters me it like its hitting something inside that hurts!

If I remember, women who breastfeed are more dry in the vaginal area. Or it might be all women after they give birth. Either way, when you have any penetration by either tampon or penis, try using a lubricant. It should help to reduce pain an make both easier to do/use. As for the bleeding, I'm unsure. I'm only 3 weeks PP and am still bleeding, so I have no idea if it's normal or not. You could speak to your doctor again if it still concerns you. I know after childbirth your cycles can be off and you might bleed randomly.
