confused about mucus plug

Still confused about what's  my mucus plug suppose to look like...this evening i went to the bathroom an after i wiped i saw a skinny thin very milky mucus slime...i called my mom am described it to her an she said yea that's it lol. So is it my mucus plug just tearing to peices one by one??  Im 38weeks an 2days

Whatever i saw was white clear an very thick milk color coating but was thin like

the mucus plug will be clear or yellow mucus mine looked like a yellow string and I lost it over a week in pieces when I wiped at the potty. it was sometimes green or light brown as well. when its red or pink with blood and a little micis then that's the bloody show which mine came after I lost my plug...

Yes it could be. . Try googling photos as well of mucus plugs- a lil gross but it gives you an understanding
