confused

I'm having really weird problems. Don't know what to even do.We've been ttc since my depo wore off in mid-March and I was told if it was only my first dose it would take 1-3 months to get off of. About 3 weeks ago, when I started my bleeding which was either a funny brown, and some red which wasn't even a lot. It ended being like that for two weeks. I stopped completely for like 3 days down i'm having really light pink--we were having innercourse during the time of the bleeding. But when I went to the hospital with pain, took a urine pregnancy test it came up negative (they only gave me a urine test--and with PCOS it can even have  negatives in doctors offices). Now I'm getting weird milk tasting discharge from my nipple (yes I was told it was milk tasting) and innercourse lately hasn't been so nice some positions are far too painful like the boyfriend is hitting things. I'm just confused, is it just wacko hormones or could I actually be pregnant?

I was going to say hormonal imbalance as well after reading what you wrote. Obviously we cannot diagnose you so it is important to see your regular OBGYN to see what is going on. And remember it will take time for your body to adjust. If you have PCOS it is important to make sure you are ovulating or TTC isn't going to get you anywhere without some additional help.

I think that it is more likely that your body is getting used to not being on the depo shot. The shot is a lot more detrimental to your body them most birth controls. It takes way longer to get out of your system then any other birth control on the market. I think that your body is trying to adjust to not being on it, but not saying that it isn't possible to be pregnant so soon off of the shot. I think that maybe you should try ovulation prediction kits and use them everyday until you get your surge and try that way. Hopefully your periods will even out soon. I would say when your spotting stops then take another pregnancy test just to make sure that you aren't pregnant.

What kind of doctor did you see?  An OBGYN is who  you need to see to find out why you are getting nipple discharge and sex is painful - they can also determine if you are pregnant.  My "guess" is that you might have a hormonal imbalance (could be your PCOS or body adjusted after coming off the depo) and your symptoms are due to that but I'm not a doctor - all I can offer is an educated guess.

If you are pregnant you would be very early on and would not experience colostrum production at this time so...... the discharge is due to something else.  Since nipple discharge is not normal you need to have it checked out.
