confused
A week ago I went in to see get my u/s done and I was 6wk 1day, we were able to see something but then on monday when I went back to get another u/s the dr were unable to find a fetal pole at all. I went in again the next to do another ultra sound to find there is an empty gestational sac 2.53 cm, 7w2d, with only yolk. I am so sad not sure if I should just wait a little longer and see if a miracle will happen or if i should get Cytotec medicine. I am so devastated. We have been waiting for so long and got so excited and happy when we found out I was pregnant. And now I'm hurt and not sure what to do? Any helps or tips?
Honestly i would do what your doing. i wouldnt take their medicine. if the baby stopped growing youll miscarry. and if she keeps groewing awesome another case where the drs are wrong!!! good luck and i hope nothing but the best for you and your husband yall are in my prayers!
The doctor did mention that the baby probably didnt develope correctly thats why she werent able to find it this week....My husband and I decided to just wait a few more weeks and see if nature will take its course or maybe the dr might be wrong and the baby still there...we did some research online and found other stories where they didnt find a fetal pole at 8 weeks but at 10 weeks there was a baby and a heartbeat...i hope that some mircale story like this one will happen...we'll see in two weeks or so. ..still havent given up our hope yet...Thanks for input everyone.
When I was exactly 6 weeks I saw the little round till and heard the heartbeat. At 7 weeks they should have seen an embryo. Especially since you saw development the prior week. The baby might have stopped growinhand absorbed into the uterine wall. I had that happen to me with our 4th pregnancy. I hope I'm wrong and they see something next time. Do you have a follow up?
they also seen the gestational sac and the yolk. In the first trimester all babies develop the same....I'm so sorry that you have to go through this :(
