contractions not strong enough at 38w1d

so im 38w1d pregnant and been having contractions between 5-10 minutes or so apart. i saw my doctor last week and he said i am having contractions but they are not strong enough to do anything to the cervix to help efface or dilate it=/. it seems like now my contractions are getting alittle stronger but not by much now that im 38w1d. could with in a week could i be effaced at all? what types of feelings would you get if the baby is starting to drop or if your effacing or if your body is doing any changes? im planning for a vba2c for my birth of my lil girl. i know that baby will come when they are ready=). but is there anything i could do to help bring on contractions?. im taking Evening Primrose Oil orally that are 2,000mg and Raspberry leaf to to help tone and strengthen the uterus.

Try some squats too when contracting, help open up the hips to bring baby down.

I would take a long walk while having the contractions so that gravity can help baby press on the cervix so u can start dilating

I've heard the manzanilla (chamomile) tea works . Idk if that's true. Also walking many times up and down the stairs. Nipple stimulation etc. hope this helps
