contractions or not?

I don't know what I'm feeling right now. My stomach keeps tightening up but I can't tell if its my son pressing against it... And I keep getting cramps in my back but they aren't extremely painful like everyone explains them to be. I am 39w & 4 days, what should I be looking for?

I do have an appointment tomorrow thank goodness. But it just happened again but my stomach only got hard for like 2 minutes

Sounds like contractions to me.. the start out bearable and grow stronger I would time them it could be braXton hicks as well you should definitely try to get an appointment tomorrow
