contractions?

I'm only 21+2 but a ftm and was wondering what contractions feel like? I know some women experience braxton hicks contractions but how do those differ from real contractions? I'm pretty sure I haven't had any but just wondering for the future.

Well braxton hicks aren't real and my ob said that they don't induce labor. It's just your body practicing and can be a sign that baby is unhappy. If I'm on my feet for too long or if I'm dehydrated or crying I'll get q lot and it just feels like your tummy getting hard for a minute then soft. Real contractions will increase in frequency and intensity and often times will start in the back

All i can say is you'll know the difference lol I'm 40+3 ftm myself looks like i'm gonna be going to the hospital shortly real contractions are five mines apart they get stronger and stronger if there five mins apart for one hour and there getting more painful it's the real deal braxton hicks are irregular and usually will stop if you lay on your left side or drink water congratulations btw =-)
