contractions??

38+4 weeks and just got brought out of a dead sleep because my stomach hurt so bad. I keep thinking that I'm going to have a bowel movement but everytime I try nothing happens. I dont want to wake my hubby up and run to the hospital if I just have to use the bathroom, but im beginning to think its contractions. Anyone feel this way?? Thanks

Been going through this all day it's now 5:48 am saturday here and my hubby just left for work my contractions are 6 to 10 minutes apart but labor & delivery said not to come in until they are 3 to 5 mins apart

Thanks, mine are about 5 minutes apart, its 4 am here and it hurts bad enough to wake me completely up and run for the bathroom thinking i had to go

I've spent all of today like that but they were always about 15mins apart and barable. Its now 8:30pm Saturday night here and they've almost gone so I'm glad I didn't go in. I hope yours is the real deal as you're over 38wks now! Good luck
