contractions

So I've been having contractions since Christmas eve but nothing close enough to do anything. Any mommies out there know of anything that can help bring them closer together. This is my Second but didn't have this type of experience with my daughter. With her it was like yep ok here we go kind of thing.. happened quick. Last week I was almost 60% effaced and really soft. Due date is Jan 5th.. just getting really uncomfortable over here as some of the contractions im getting are really  strong.

Ty btw.. just wish something would help. If I don't have him by Friday. Which is my next appointment I'm going to ask my midwife what I can do.

I've tried sex a few times. Walking as much as possible. Really cold outside here but so far nothing is helping get them closer. :-( I'm just so ready for my lil man to get the show on the road.

I've heard going for walks may help and that having sex can also help.
