contractions!

What did you find worked best for you for coping with them while at home? Went to l&d at 3 am this morning for bad pain found out I am contracting pretty bad. Every 3 minutes. Really strong. I do the breathing but I feel so nauseous with every contraction. I got sent home after 6 hours of no change which is a good thing but these are so painful! I'm only 30 weeks..

How much longer are they trying to hold out now since you are starting to dilate?  It normally cam be a fast process now with how far you are.

We're you dilated at all? I got sent home last night from l&d. Having reg contractions but not dilated enough to be admitted. To get through them I lay on my side and concentrate on breathing, also I sit on a yoga ball with my legs spread wide to release some pain and lean over resting my head and arms on my bed.

Because I've been on prometrium since 22 weeks and that's the only thing they can give me bc of my kidneys... it's obviously not working completely but has slowed things down. They talked about doing steroids but they want me to go to my appointment first which is on tuesday. Walking doesn't help :/ and for some reason it really hurts to pee. I don't have an infection was just tested today but it feels like my vagina is falling out when I pee. Is that normal? I'll try switching from side to side. I know on my back sitting up and walking they get worse
