contractions

I went for a normal check up with my gyn turn out my blood pressure was to high so he sent me to the hospital during that time I was being monitor the monitor started pick up contractions but the doctor said I was fully closed inside they sent me home and now seem like the contractions got stronger a little

I'm only 34weeks I really don't want him to come
When should I go back to L&D like does it matter how far apart and how long they last ? FTM

Just went to the doc today and she told me braxton hicks (practice contractions) are irregularly and usually not painful. If you are sitting a lot try walking around, go to the bathroom or stretch. If they are painful and constant they are real contractions and you should go to the doc.
