Also if you drink water and lay down and they lessen or go away that is false labor or braxton hicks. If no matter what you do they get worse and you can time them (and they are consistant) then that is real labor. I thought with braxton hicks if you got up and walked they were suppose to get better. One night I was having horrible pains, like contractions, and they wouldn't go away. I called in and they told me to lay down and drink water. If in two hours (from when they started) I still had the pains then I needed to go in. They went away in an hour and a half.
Its when you stomach tightens real hard. Feels hard as a rock and last a little bit then go away and they are inconsistent.

Yea you can get them that early and they can also be very painful sometimes.
I don't remember getting them on my first but I didn't get them until 30+ weeks on my second one x
