Up to 6 an hour is normal. Drink a bunch of water and take a warm bath. Real labor won't stop or slow down. That said, I had 5 days of bh 5 minutes apart before real labor started with my first.
Hi, I just went to My OB on Friday and express my concerns about Braxton hicks. I told her the last two weeks (I am 37w2d) I am getting frequent Braxton hicks and they are becoming a little bit uncomfortable. She told me that it was normal and to call her if I get 4 in an hour. She advise to drink some water and lay on my left side to see if it will ease up. I noticed if I haven't been drinking enough water or haven't had the chance to eat anything, my Braxton hicks will become uncomfortable. Sometimes the spasm can last up to a minute.
I keep getting braxtons as well.. Some are a little intense.. Everything i did research on said that if you experience more than four in an hour to check in with your dr. Because it could be signs of preterm labor. But its better to see the dr.
