Im not feeling the "menstrual cramps" feeling but my stomach gets really tight and I loose my breath ive been hospitalized for contraction at 27 weeks and now im 36+2days so I dont really know if its just the baby putting pressure or real contractions heelp please!

I have contractions that feel just like that. I'm constantly told how they are bh but I'm dilating plus effacing so obviously they aren't. I have a VERY VERY high pain tolerance which I know no one will correlate to my contractions since the typical woman describs them as excruciating but the funny thing about that is, is there are women who find bh to be they are being killed with pain while some women can go through complete labor and feel only mild cramping. It all just depends on the woman so you could be having contractions that are early labor. :) best of luck

To my understanding, those are called Braxton Hicks. You're body preparing for the "real thing".  I've been dealing with it now for about 2 weeks.  I'm 39 weeks tomorrow.  So, that's what it could be... That's how other females have described it, but they are irregular and they come and go and last about 20 seconds.  That's how it was explained to me.  A tightening at the top of my stomach (uterus) and almost feels like you can't breathe.  That's when you feel the baby's bottom (if your baby is head down) and it feels really hard right under your breast area.  So It's probably the BH contractions you're experiencing.

I had stomach tightening and they were contractions 2-4mins apart. They sent me home since it wasnt serious labour. Im now having bad cramps and trying to time them lol so yes they could be real contractions but not active labour

It could be your baby balling up. Contact ur doctor if you notice leaking
