cough medicine?

I'm 18 weeks and a day now and I have just recently developed a pretty heavy mucousy cough that I'd really like to get under control. I can't seem to find the list of medicine my doctors office gave me of the medicines I can take with pregnancy. What would you girls recommend for this?

Thanks! I asked my pharmacist what they recommend and they told me tussin or delsym works really well also

My dr.told me it.was.fine to take equate brand mucus relief. Its for cold, flu, and sore throat. It tastes horrible but it does work and didnt make me.drowsy
