just remember caseyy it does take a few days for hcg levels to show up before they are positive so when you did take the test it might have been too soon.

I can only tell you from my experience so you can try and interpret it to suit you if you want.  Before my miscarriage I was a 30 day cycle.  I miscarried at 14 weeks and miscarried naturally.  My miscarriage was pretty quick, one day i was spotting and literally the next night he was out.

The first week of my miscarriage I bled heavy like a normal period.  The next week I bled light and the third week I spotted.  I miscarried on the 13th april and I know I ovulated on the 5-7 May so that would be between 22 and 24 days post miscarriage.  My hubby and I didn't try to fall pregnant.  So say I ovulated on the 6th May, 14 days after that I got my first af.  In total I went 5 and a half weeks before I got my period.

Assuming you have a normal 28 day cycle, if you miscarried say on the 3rd of August and if you count 14 days from then being the 17th August you would have ovulated around then.  If you had intercourse around then there is a possiblity you could be pregnant.

I hope that helps .  Just remember every women is different and your body reacts differently after a miscarriage.  I have found that women that have very early miscarriages tend to get their periods backs within 4 weeks postmiscarriage and every week after that it takes a little bit longer.  But please remember every women is different.  YOu are curious you could always buy hpt's.

It is really hard to tell because you don't know when to expect your period.  I know it took me 37 days after my miscarriage to get my period.  My hubby and I fell pregnant after my first cycle and I am 17 weeks now.  I will say you can definately fall pregnant straight after a miscarrigae.  Since your levels are at zero, could you take a hpt to confirm it???  Have you had intercourse since the 2nd day after your miscarriage?

Its possible, I caught straight after a miscarriage. I didnt have hcg level monitored (20 years ago) and didnt even wait for a period, just got straight to the task of trying as it was my 3rd miscarriage and I was beginning to freak.

Good luck
